AKV Technologies operates Zaizen and www.zaizen.dev. This Policy describes how we handle personal information when you visit the website, contact us, create an account, or use a Zaizen service that we operate. It does not control the independent privacy practices of AI, repository, payment or other third-party services that you choose to connect.

1. Information we collect

• Account and contact details: name, email address, organisation details you provide, account settings, and messages sent through our contact or support forms.
• Project and service content: prompts, conversations, project descriptions, repository references, files, code, generated output and related work records that you submit or connect while using Zaizen. The exact content depends on the features you use.
• Usage and technical information: service events, request logs, device/browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, error reports and security events needed to operate, protect and improve the Service.
• Billing information: plan and invoice details, transaction identifiers, amount, payment status and refund records. Razorpay processes payment details supplied at checkout; Zaizen does not need your full card number or card security code.

2. How we use it

We use this information to provide accounts and project features, run authorised AI or repository workflows, respond to enquiries, process payments and refunds, maintain security, troubleshoot failures, improve the Service, and meet accounting or legal obligations. We do not sell personal information. We will use contact details for marketing only where you have chosen to receive it or where otherwise permitted by applicable law, and will provide a way to opt out.

3. AI providers and other recipients

When you request an AI-powered feature, the prompts and project material needed for that request may be sent to the AI provider selected or configured for that workflow. Connected repository or development services may also receive data required for actions you authorise. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply.

We also use providers for hosting, security, email delivery, support and payment processing. We share only the information reasonably needed for those functions, for a transaction you initiate, or when disclosure is required by law. We may disclose information to protect users, enforce our Terms, or respond to a lawful request. If the business is reorganised or transferred, relevant information may transfer with it subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.

4. Cookies and similar technology

We may use cookies or similar storage for sign-in, security, preferences and site operation. Browser settings may let you restrict cookies, although some account features may then stop working.

5. Storage, retention and security

We retain information while needed to operate your account and projects, resolve support or payment issues, maintain security, and meet applicable record-keeping duties. We delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed, subject to backups and legal holds.

We use technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. If you use a self-hosted Zaizen installation, its operator may control data stored in that installation; this Policy covers only information sent to services operated by AKV Technologies.

6. Processing locations and external links

Our service providers or integrations may process information in countries other than yours. We will handle such transfers as required by applicable law. Links to external websites are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.

7. Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, subject to applicable law and records we must retain. You can also withdraw optional marketing consent. Contact us through Contact; we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If you close an account, we will explain what data remains for billing, legal or security reasons.

8. Children, changes and contact
